Apply required CE marking and complete applicable EU or national AI registration before market placement, service or qualifying use.

Identify marking and registration duties separately for the system, actor and route concerned. For applicable provider marking, verify the form, visibility and required identifiers. For registration, select the proper EU, national or restricted route and enter the required information before the relevant activity. Retain confirmation and update records when needed. Article 49 registrations and real-world-testing registrations have different scopes; not every high-risk system belongs in the same public database. Coordinate pre-use checks with the Public-Authority High-Risk AI Registration Check control where appropriate.
